Chandi House

The Chandi House sits 300 yards from Bde Maka Ska beachfront in Uptown Minneapolis. 

Six bedrooms over four levels, eleven beds, five bathrooms. It sleeps twelve without anyone feeling crowded.

Two things separate it from other houses this size. There are two saunas, a steam sauna and a full spectrum infrared sauna, on different floors. And your host is a chef. He makes Indian fusion, Silk Road & Ayurvedic menus for a private dinner, a group breakfast, or a full retreat. All of it is optional. The house works well w/o any of it.

Uptown Minneapolis, on the edge of the Chain of Lakes. Bde Maka Ska is at the end of the block, with swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding in summer and miles of walking and cycling on the Grand Rounds all year. The Midtown Greenway runs nearby. Downtown Minneapolis is about ten minutes by car, the airport about twenty five, and the restaurants, cafés and wine bars of Uptown and Lyn-Lake are within walking distance.

Booking through this site costs less than booking the same dates through a platform, because there is no guest service fee added on top. On stays of three nights or more we also cook you dinner on the first evening. That is not a discount. It is the part of the house we are proudest of.
